DCSI introduces patient centered literature to promote early cancer diagnosis.
Dr. “Zu” Ekpundobi, a recent appointee to the Board of Directors for Detroit Cancer Screening Initiative, brings tech savvy and creative arts skills to bear on the problem of delayed cancer diagnosis. While his passion is detecting and treating GI Cancers, he has helped DCSI develop a simple, impactful educational piece to educate patients about early lung cancer screening.
Having recently completed his Internal Medicine residency at the DMC/Wayne State School of Medicine, Dr Ekpundobi is seeking a GI Fellowship in the area.
